Fragments is an immersive display of Lex Pott’s new work in stone framed by a custom handmade gradient wallcovering made from the same stone by Nicholas and Rachel Cope of Calico Wallpaper. This project is created in collaboration with The Future Perfect founder David Alhadeff.
Pott’s inspiration for the Fragments collection originated from the way rocks at a quarry fracture and break; along natural veining and fissures inherent in the material. By preserving the stone offcuts in its brutal raw form, and then fusing them with opposing, highly polished glass surfaces, the resulting pieces poetically and provocatively toe the line between design and art.

Fernando Mastrangelo has been using unique casting materials (salt, sand, sugar, coffee, corn) as part of his sculpture practice for over a decade. In his new line of sculptural furniture, MMATERIAL, he re-contextualizes form and function once again, bringing together indoor and outdoor materials that fuse his minimalist aesthetic with deft ingenuity and craft. The artificial lake in a tranquil surroundings becomes a spectacular site during winter. The temperatures may fall below -30 degrees Celsius here, thus making this big lake freeze. However, it is not the ice only, that makes it amazing.
The unique circles are frozen bubbles of flammable methane gas, coming from the depth – a result of bacterias decomposing organic material. This creates the unusual phenomena, which looks so incredible in winter.

Handmade Industrials
Founders Rutger de Regt and Marlies van Putten met during their studies at the Royal Academy of Arts in The Hague. They share the same interest in experimental design by process based principles. While Rutger is keen on social and inventive themes, Marlies is more poetic in her work as a designer. After an invitation to create a piece for a charity design auction, Rutger de Regt invited Marlies van Putten to join the project. This was the start of the collaboration that led to the founding of HandMade Industrials. By teaming up they discovered that their work and philosophy could make a difference for the designer makers of this time.
IMPOSE By imposing physical restrictions on a flexible mould, the character of each object comes to life during the production process. The impose series is based on the Make&Mold technique and is an ongoing research to create objects that reveal their own identity. Sizes vary from 15cm till 80 cm
Sculpt light are unique hand sculpted hanging lights made from bio-degradable polymers. Made by manually restrict and sculpt a flexible mould. The Make&Mold technique is developed and patented by Handmade Industrials.
